These Terms govern your use of our website, client portal, and participation in any residential retreat, programme, or service we provide. By booking, paying, or creating a portal account you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

01

About us

Bootcamp Wild Atlantic Way is a residential fitness and wellbeing retreat located in Ballisodare, County Sligo, Ireland. We provide coached training, nutrition guidance, private en-suite accommodation, outdoor activities and aftercare support as part of 7, 14 and 21 day programmes, or longer by arrangement.

02

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to book and attend.
  • You must be medically fit to take part in moderate to vigorous physical activity. If in doubt, consult your doctor before booking.
  • You must disclose any medical condition, injury, allergy, medication, pregnancy, mental-health condition, or dietary requirement that could affect your safety or ours, before arrival and inside the portal.

03

Bookings and payment

  • Prices listed are per person in euros (€) and include accommodation, training, meals, and coaching as described in the Stay & pricing section of the website. Published prices, formats and inclusions may be updated at our discretion from time to time.
  • Payment may be taken through Stripe, by bank transfer, or in cash where we agree that method in advance. Your place is only confirmed once payment, or an agreed deposit, is received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
  • Travel, insurance, visas, personal items and any optional extras are not included.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate guest details. We may refuse or cancel a booking made with false information.

04

Choosing and changing dates

  • When you purchase you secure a stay format, 7, 14 or 21 days. You then select specific dates from live availability in the portal.
  • Date changes requested more than 30 days before the chosen start date are free of charge, subject to availability.
  • Date changes requested 15 to 30 days before start may incur an administration fee of up to €100.
  • Date changes requested less than 15 days before start are treated as a cancellation unless we agree otherwise in writing.

05

Programme delivery and staffing

We deliver the programme through a combination of coaches, instructors, hosts, management and support staff. Team roles on site may change from time to time for operational reasons, scheduling, illness, availability, safety considerations, or guest wellbeing.

  • We do not guarantee that any named coach, instructor, chef, trainer, or other individual will lead your sessions or prepare your meals.
  • Sessions, walks, hikes, meal planning and meal preparation may be delivered by different members of our team, including management or support staff, where we consider that appropriate for the safe and effective running of the stay.
  • Core fitness training sessions are led or supervised by a qualified personal trainer, with other team members supporting delivery where appropriate.
  • Team members may bring different backgrounds, practical experience, and responsibilities, and not every person involved in delivery will hold the same title, certification, or professional designation.
  • We will use reasonable judgement to ensure that programme delivery remains appropriate to the guest group, with client wellbeing, safety and suitability as the priority.

06

Cancellation and refunds

Because capacity is limited and costs are committed in advance, the following applies:

  • More than 60 days before start: full refund minus a €150 administration fee, or full credit valid 12 months.
  • 30 to 60 days before start: 50% refund or full credit valid 12 months.
  • Less than 30 days before start: non-refundable; credit may be offered at our discretion.
  • No-show or early departure: no refund.
  • We strongly recommend travel and cancellation insurance.
  • Consumer cancellation rights under EU law do not generally apply to leisure services supplied on a specific date; by booking you acknowledge this.

07

Cancellation or changes by us

If we must cancel or materially change a stay, for example due to force majeure, illness of key staff, loss of venue, or insufficient guests, we will offer you at your choice:

  • an alternative date, or
  • a full refund of amounts paid to us.

We are not liable for incidental costs such as flights, trains or lost work, and recommend refundable travel bookings or insurance.

08

Your stay: rules of the house

To keep the retreat safe, productive and enjoyable for everyone, guests agree to:

  • Respect other guests, staff, neighbours and the property.
  • Follow coaching instructions and safety briefings during all sessions and outings.
  • No smoking or vaping inside the building. No recreational drugs on site.
  • Alcohol is not part of the programme and is discouraged during the stay.
  • Keep noise reasonable, particularly at night.
  • Report damage or injury immediately.

We may remove, without refund, any guest whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or persistently disruptive.

09

Health, safety and assumption of risk

Physical training, outdoor activity and hiking carry inherent risk. By taking part you:

  • Confirm that the health information you gave us is accurate and complete.
  • Acknowledge that you take part at your own risk and are responsible for stopping, resting, or asking for modifications as needed.
  • Agree that our coaches may refuse or adapt any activity if they believe it is unsafe for you.

Our Services are not medical treatment and do not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

10

Medical clearance, safety decisions and emergency treatment

We may require additional health information, clarification, or a letter from your doctor before confirming or continuing your participation if we reasonably believe it is necessary for your safety or the safety of others.

Fitness to participate is an ongoing requirement. During your stay, we may modify, refuse, pause or stop any session, activity, outing or your continued participation if we believe it would be unsafe for you or for others.

In an emergency, if you are unable to make decisions or we cannot reasonably reach your emergency contact in time, you authorise us to seek urgent medical assistance on your behalf. You remain responsible for any external medical, transport or related costs not covered by us or by your insurance.

11

Insurance, travel responsibility and dietary limitations

You are responsible for arranging suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance where appropriate. We strongly recommend that you have cover for illness, injury, cancellation, curtailment, loss of belongings and travel disruption.

You are responsible for your own travel arrangements, arrival and departure timings, passport or visa requirements where relevant, and any costs arising from missed transport, delay or disruption outside our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate declared allergies, intolerances, dietary and religious requirements, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and do not accept responsibility where a risk has not been disclosed to us in advance.

12

Results disclaimer, accommodation, portal and IP

Testimonials and examples on our website show real guest experiences but are not a promise of specific outcomes. Results depend on starting point, consistency, genetics, nutrition, sleep and life circumstances.

Guests are accommodated in single-occupancy en-suite rooms at The Old Convent unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for personal belongings; we recommend travel insurance. Reasonable wear and tear is expected, but we may charge for deliberate or negligent damage.

Media, chargebacks, website availability, liability and disputes

We may take photos or short videos on site for coaching, safety and marketing purposes. We will ask for your separate written consent before using any image in which you are identifiable externally. You may withdraw consent at any time for future use by emailing bootcampwaw@gmail.com.

We rely on trusted providers including Stripe, hosting providers, email, SMS or WhatsApp messaging and training platforms. Their use is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or acts outside our control.

If a payment is reversed, charged back or disputed without a valid legal basis, we may suspend the booking or portal access and recover the unpaid booking amount together with any direct processor, administration or recovery costs reasonably incurred.

We do not guarantee that the website or client portal will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. Maintenance, updates, third-party failures or events outside our control may cause downtime or restricted access.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, or enjoyment. Our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory statutory rights you may have under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.

14

General legal terms

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

If we delay or do not enforce any right under these Terms, that does not mean we waive that right.

These Terms, together with any booking confirmation and any policies expressly referred to in them, form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Services.
